Re: US Supreme Court
The power to decide on abortion rights for tens of millions of women will now be handed to the 50 states to determine individually.

Abortion in Poland is legal only in cases when the pregnancy is a result of a criminal act or when the woman's life or health is at risk.

Abortion in Italy became legal in May 1978, when Italian women were allowed to terminate a pregnancy on request during the first 90 days.

And so on.

'Fascism and the far right rule in the USA'

I think Biden and the DNC are trying to fuck the USA over, not sure fascist is the right description, they are globalists and under the control of oligarchs, like Larry Fink etc and most of them are compromised by the CCP.

The supreme court has just re-instated the correct interpretation of the constitution, which never granted a constitutional right to abortion, its a matter for the states and their democratically elected representatives. Quite correct.

Re: US Supreme Court
And the male "libertarians" support the right of the state to determine what happens to women's bodies.

"Libertarian" = maximum of freedom for me, fuck everyone else

As does the US supreme court decision, even if you identify as an american woman of child bearing age. Wouldn't want to misgender you.

Re: US Supreme Court

Re: US Supreme Court
The ignorance around this is astounding in some cases and wilful in others aided by our disingenuous media.

Laws should be made by elected politicians, not judges. Judges should interpret those laws and in the case of the US, interpret them according to their constitution.

No elected body ever passed national laws for abortion in the US. This Supreme Court decision doesn’t outlaw any laws passed by elected politicians. All it does is say that if the people want laws on abortion, they should elect politicians to make those laws instead of relying on 9 unelected judges to make them as is what happened in Roe vs Wade.

This is a democratic decision, only the subject matter has enabled people to get away with twisting it into supposed ‘fascism’.

If people thing killing unborn children is good go argue your fucking point in the town hall

Re: US Supreme Court
Principle? Its actually about the constitution. Can you show me the part of the US constitution that gives an absolute right to an abortion?

Abortion is neither proscribed nor prescribed by the constitution, it is a matter for individual states and their elected representatives. The abortion industry in the US is obscene in scale and influence.

*liberal - obviously

Re: US Supreme Court
The principle is about the power of the state to interfere in the most basic affairs of women.

The constitution only comes in insofar as it protects women from this interference or not.

"Libertarian" hypocrisy stripped bare.

Surely the right to murder cant be just a gun toting nihilist ?

riosleftsock 1:47 Sat Jun 25
Re: US Supreme Court
The principle is about the power of the state to interfere in the rights of women vs the rights of babies.

The constitution only comes in insofar as it protects innocent babies from this interference or not.

"Libertarian" hypocrisy stripped bare

FIFY

Re: US Supreme Court
Once you call embryos* babies, you've lost.

Youre actually lying for your case, which makes everything you say about principle laughable..
